Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 18, 2007 -- The 270 day deadline for banks and financial institutions to adhere to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act's legislations has passed without a whimper from the lawmakers, and millions of Americans are continuing to gamble online without hindrance according to the blogs which have been helping US based players carry on gambling.

Since last year http://uscasinos.blogspot.com and http://unitedstatesofpoker.blogspot.com have endeavored to provide Americans with all the information they need to keep playing online, in the form of help with understanding the law, and by providing lists on all poker and casino sites still accepting US players.

Now, as the deadline has passed, both blogs have been totally updated and all the information thoroughly checked to make sure it is still correct. Now both blogs show which sites accept US players and how players can deposit money into their accounts legally, to partake in these online activities.

The surprising thing is, says blog owner Dave Chance, is that he didn't have to update that many facts, "Not much has changed since the deadline passed. All the major players still accepting US players before are still accepting them. No-one has changed policy and I doubt many people would even have noticed that the deadline had passed. For all intents and purposes, it is still legal for US citizens to gamble online, as long as they can fund their account."

Whilst it is not as simple as it used to be to fund accounts it is still possible to have an account up and running in 15 minutes if players follow the instructions found at both blogs. Although many Americans have moved back to gambling online some are still hesitant about it, not sure whether or not they are liable to prosecution if they do. The blogs answer all these questions fully and many more.

Surely as more and more players carry on gambling in the US online the lawmakers will realize that the law is unworkable and will move to legislate and regulate the online game, making it easier for online players to gamble, and more importantly for them, recouping more tax from the companies themselves.

Until then though players looking for information on how to play poker or use casinos online will need to use blogs like http://uscasinos.blogspot.com (CASINO) and http://unitedstatesofpoker.blogspot.com to find out all they need to know about where and how to carry on playing.
